What's your favourite use of Proxy for Distance Healing?

If I am sending general healing I write the name of the person to receive on a piece of paper and hold it between my hands until the Reiki stops flowing. If I am sending a full treatment I use a doll as a surrogate. Is this what you meant Rainbowchild? :eek:



Interesting question! I close my eyes and visualize the person sitting in front of me and carry out a treatment as if they were there. Sometimes ( if it is someone I know so I have a proper 'image' of them) I have 'projected' to where they are and can describe what was in the room, who was there etc which can 'spook' some of my friends!

Thanks Poppet and Reikangel that is what I meant. I have taken to using a name on paper and also the teddy bear method.

Whatever method you feel comfortable with is the right one for you honey. There is no right or wrong way. :)



I just tend to hold the person in my mind, and then state my intention for the Reiki energy to flow through them and help in whatever way they need. Often, I begin by using a prayer based onThe Healer's Prayer, this is really useful for making contact with Source and getting into the right space to begin channelling thehealingenergy.



Some people like teddy bears or whatever. I just use my mind, imaginationand my intention. ;)
