Hi everyone
I'm in the process of writing an article about the benefits or receiving Reiki during pregnancy, either through a practitioner or with self-treatment.
I had such a lovely experience with Reiki during my second pregnancy, followed by a very easy childbirth (especially after having had a nightmare of a childbirth with first child). May I ask you toshare you own experience of Reiki and pregnancy, either on here or pm me, if you prefer, just so that I know, I'm not the only one who has felt this way.:)
Specifically, I'd love to know about how exactly Reiki has helped you during pregnancy,also if it helped you with childbirth and if you felt you bonded with your unborn baby more deeply, or how the baby responded to treatment (in my case, my unborn was always alert and followed the hand around the tummy :D)
For Reiki practitioners, if you have any stories to shareof how unborn babies react to Reiki energy, I would love to hear that, too.

As a Reiki Practitioner I have treated three pregnant ladies (all relations) and was assured that they thoroughly enjoyed it and it made them a lot calmer.
As for the babies, I found that whilst treating the womb area the babies went really quiet (even the one who was constantly on the move) until I'd finished then 'woke up' again. I also felt the energy was different when treating the baby.
