does anyone know of an alternative to Glucosamine Sulphate for someone allergic to shellfish?



I have a friend who is allergic to shellfish, he has found a website that sells Vegetarian Glucosaminethat is free from shellfish. I also order from them and they come highly recommended.

I too am allergic to shell fish and its derivitives, and I was told about a bovine version, didnt know of a Vegetarian alternative, which sounds interesting as I didnt fancy "mad cow disease"



I would stay well clear of the "bovine"Glucosamine it's cheap and nasty. I would stick to either the shellfish (better quality) or the vegetarian version. I buy my Glucosamine from because I know their Glucosamine comes from shellfish.
