How doesit compare to EMF or Reiki?

Call me an old cynic but I am sceptical about this. A client of mine mentioned it and I had a look a while ago. The website seems a little too ego driven and Eric never seems to do any healing any more, just lectures. Surely all healers still want to work with patients or why do it. Plus there are so few testimonials - you have to buy the book to read more - and the interesting pages like the kirlian photographs just don't work.
Something doesn't smell right to me. But I am more than happy to be proved wrong.

Well at the moment I'm not going to make any comment as I'm really interested in other's experiences and comments.
I've read the book, "The Reconnection" and how it came to my attention was quite weird.Will say that I found the book fascinating and inspirational and then, towards the end, the energy of the book changed completely for me.
Also have some friends who have taken "The Reconnection" courses with Dr Pearl.Have also channelled my guides "The Elohim" on the Reconnection energies. Very interesting what they had to say, especially about our motivation to heal. Anyway, maybe there will be more feedback soon...

He may sound a little egotistic, but actually if you listen to the guy speaking you will see that his point is to listen to the message, and not necessarily worry about the person who delivers it.
He will undoubtedly ruffle some feathers, but thats because the simplicity of the ability to receive and facilitate the healings will upset some people who feel you need to spend years training before you can give powerful healings.
If you are one of those people who perhaps feels uncomfortable about being told you need to go on dozens of coursesbefore you can start healing people, then maybe you could take a look at the reconnection. The guy speaks a lot of sense, and there are countless examples of simple and powerful healings. I have seen them at first hand, and was shown how to do just the same. It really is that simple. If you get a chance, try and get along to one of his seminars, and see for yourself.

I just got back from one of his seminars. Very interesting, if you are truly open to different/new ways of healing people.
Just so you know, I understand your comment about the fact that he doesnt do many healings these days, but from looking at the schedule he undertakes, he doesnt have a huge amount of spare time to work one-on-one with clients. He spends his time teaching others to do the work. So far he has trained over 30,000people to do the healing work (worldwide), so if you think about how many individual healings those people have performed, the figure becomes huge !
I really suggest you take a look for yourself and keep an open mind. If you read the book you will get a feel for the true nature of this work.
I like the fact that the work is really really simple to facilitate. In a single weekend, anyone (yes anyone) can get the knowledge required to perform the same healings that Eric performs himself.

I read the book some time ago but wouldn't take up the training because I already feel like the avenues I'm following at the moment are plenty sufficient for the time being.

Yes that is a wise viewpoint. Many people chase all kinds of new courses and modalities in the hope it will make them an instant healer or a better healer. Personally, I believe there is no substitute for practice and that any healing modality is only as powerful as the absense of the sense of selfwhen doinghealing work. When we are "not there"...using Reiki, Reconnection or whatever..then healing can take place. We forget often, that it is not us who heals..ever.
