Hi everyone,
I am a new user to the forum and thoroughly enjoy reading all the topics, thankyou healthy pages!
My question is I send distant attunements to around 6 people every morning in a few different country's and I'm wondering if I need to spend longer than a few minutes on each one, the way I do this is by envisiging a light going into their top chakra, and following the light into their body's and filling them with light! Am I doing this right?
Any comments, are greatly appreciated!
Another thing is when treating someone in person, is it correct to do all 3 symbols first [hsc] or just [sc] and leave the long distant one out!

Dear Wesley,
There is no 'correct' form when carrying out distant attunements because the underlying intention and your connection to the recipients is the important thing. You might choose to send each attunements individually to each recipient, or you might choose to send one attunement to multiple recipients at the same time, in the same way that distant healing can be sent to multiple recipients simultaneously.
You might choose to carry out your attunement ritual of an empty chair in front of you, intending that the attunement will be received by the recipient in 'real time' or with the intention that it can be received by them at a particular time, or that it can be received when they 'call it in'.
you might choose to do the ritual 'in your head' rather than making real hand movements, or you might choose to use a truncated ritual of your choosing. It's up to you.
There are many ways of using the symbols taught in different lineages. There is no consensus about their use. Most of these approaches have very little to do with the way that Usui Sensei taught his students to work with the energies. If you were taught to use the symbols in a particular way and you feel comfortable with that way, then go ahead and use them in that way.

The advice ou have been given so far is spot on. Go with your heart and do what feels right to you.
I am a member of a distant healing group which sends email requests, I reiki my email box with the intent that healing is activated as soon as the request goes out rather than when it is received, as I may not be ale to access my email box daily.
Reiki has its own intelligence, so if your intent is for distant healing for others your simple request will active that healing, in the same way as we have been taught we can reiki a situation (interview, for example) in the future.
