Hi
I am just interested if there are any side effects with Indian Head Massage?
as I massaged a couple of people and they both said they had a headache the next day and I explained it most likely was from the released toxins and maybe part of the healing process but can anyone suggest if it could be anything else?
I do advise them to drink loads of water after to help flush out the toxins as I am concerned that it will put them off and I need someone to chat to about this if anyone is online.

If you have completed a course in IHM, I feel sure you must have been taught about the possible effects following treatment (sometimes called a healing crisis) and been advised to inform your new clients, by way of an advice sheet, that they MIGHT experience some discomforts following a treatment and the ways to cope with it (drinking plenty of water, resting, etc) .
This is because the release of toxins created by the treatment is rather like dredging a river of accumulated silting. The river becomes cloudy as the silt is disturbed but once the dredging is completed the cloudiness is swept away by the current and the river has been deepened and is clearer than before.
