Question:
Greetings to all HP's,
Has anyone used the above tincture? And if so, any suggestions where I could find a reputable supplier please????

essiac is commonly used in cancer treatments, you should be able to get it form a good herbalist or health shop

Essiac is a blend of 4 herbs, most oftentaken as a tea, which is boiled and then steeped for 24 hrs.
As Dez says, it's often used in cancer treatments and also in treating diabetes.
PM me for the recipe and I can also let you know where you can get the herbs.

Selinite, I've pmed you with some details - not sure re advertising whether I could just put it in the thread.
You can buy it online from Nutricentre.com.
Lyndsey, I've PM'd you, but will put this out for anyone who is interested. Essiac is one of the supplements I use made from the roots of Burdock, Sheep sorrel, Slippery Elm and Indian rhubarb. I get it over here from GNC. The supplier is:
Essiac Canada, Int'l
P.O. Box 23155 Ottawa, Ontario
Canada K2A 4E2
There is a bit of a process to make it, but it is tea-like in nature and it seems to make sense.

kcatdeejay - the supplier that you get yours from... is there a reason that you don't just buy it from a health food shop? And how does it differ from flor-essence formula? Oh, and how does it differ from Ojibway herb formula... or are they all the same thing?
Thanks!

p.s. I only just realised that Essiac is 'Caisse' spelt backwards. Doh!
Actually, probably no particular reason other than Rene Caisse was from Canada and that the ingredients matched what I had read about. Not familiar with flor-essence or Ojibway herb-tell me about them. I'm always open to new things. I do know she got the formula from an Indian tribe in Canada-the Ojibways?
