Hi All
HAVE to tell you about an amazing thing that happened to me recently. My husband is away working at the moment. When he left he unfortunately left the house in chaos - he is a DIY "half a job" man and he has a very small boredom/attention threshold where this is concerned.
On Monday I was feeling a bit down and stressed about this (there is only so long you can have a bathroom without a door on etc etc!)
I asked the Universe and my Spirit Guides for assistance. I told them that I was stressed about the house and needed help in whichever form it came.
Previously I had seen an advert for a "handyman" in my local paper, and had a left a message with him to call me when he had some time to do some jobs.
Well, he came over on Wednesday and I showed him all the jobs that needed finishing, one of which is my new treatment room. He said to me "this looks like it should be a healing room", which astounded me a bit.
We ended up talking for at least an hour. It turns out that he is a Reiki Practitioner, his Dad is a Reiki Master and owns an amazing crystal shop near to where I live, his brother is a medium. The list goes on and on....
I am so relieved, because I had thought that whoever did the jobs for me would have to be left in the house on their own (I can't get time off work). We ended up connecting so well that I felt as if I'd known him for years!!!
So my help arrived in the nick of time!!!

Dear Jane, you are not alone! I have a lovely cupboard in my treatment room which has taken about 12 months to make and still hasn't had its door put on :). Also no kitchen door, half finished jobs etc. Spooky, isn't it? Perhaps I am due a visit from a reiki angel cum handyman!
My dad is a bit this way inclined with DIY and my mum has found a lovely name to describe him - Johnnie Half Job!

I was sitting in bed the other night using my runes and was thinking about my husband who was in the living room watching the TV. I was involved in what I was doing and he suddenly yelled out - I am watching the TV and will come to bed soon. He swears blind I talked to him and was responding to me talking to him. [:o] I will have to be careful what I think now:D

As for for my other half's "D-I-Y", Johnie Half Job is very apt! His name is Dougie, however, so perhaps in answer to that......"Dougie-Just-Doesn't"????
As for my Reikiangel/handyman, I went to his Dad's crystal shop today and - wow!! When I was in the shop I asked the owner, "Are you Gareth's dad?" and he said "Are you the lady he's coming to help around the house?". He already had some phone numbers written down for me for all his friends who are Reiki practitioners/masters who get together every couple of weeks. His son had already told him about me, apparently, and they have invited me to a healing group that they do every fortnight. I was so chuffed, as some of you might have read I've been floundering a bit lately. This is just what I need.
While I was in the shop, I bought a beautiful new piece of quartz crystal for my new treatment room. It looks stunning.
Reikiangel, you obviously have others following in your footsteps!!!
Someset Angel, I too may have to be careful when I use my Runes - my husband is in Antarctica at the moment, so I think I am safe, though you never know!! How long have you been using the Runes? I am a beginner (only this year), but I love them and would love to know how I can further my knowledge/ability. Any advice???
