Hi Delamare
Have you tried the FE colleges? I know it might be a little out of your way, but Basildon & Barking colleges do Aromatherapy diplomas (either NVQ's or ITEC), although you have to have massage & anatomy & physiology qualifications first..........If it's not too far in the other direction, you could try Southend too.
The more expensive option is to go for a Tisserand or Gabriel Mojay course. Mojay's course looks fabulous, but it is pricey. I'd love to do it, as although pricey looks really comprehensive & is spread over a series of weekends, so is not a 'full-time' commitment as such (although the work you have to do in your own time probably counters that :D) I know several people who have been on both Tisserand and Mojay courses who are very passionate about them & would recommend them highly.
I can't give you any personal recommendations for any of the above (I studied ITEC at an FE college in London). Are theBSYcourses completed by correspondence?Personally, I think for hands on disciplines, it might be more beneficial to do hands on courses, unless you are just after something introductory.
Hope you find the course you are looking for
