Hi J
Im not sure to be honest - I met a girl yesturday about premisis and advice on what i sould add on to my therapies. she said that iinstead of having a load of therapis to specialise in one and be good at it - she mentioned doing a Licenced practicitioner reflexology course as this would beniofit me greatley - to be honest i never thought of asking 'Licenced by who' as i thought this was somthing i hadnt known about that she enlightened me on!! she said that i woudl be able to teach reflexology when im linenced. So im as in athe dark as about this as yourself which is why I posted on here to see if anybody knew anything about it.
hi catrina,in order to teach anything, one has to have a teaching qualification... to teach at further education that would be something like a PGCE or City & Guilds 7407. the reflex qualification you have would then have to satisfy the curriculum manager.
Hi Catrina
Are you still working in Northern Ireland? If so, have they introduced licensing for therapists? I know that some boroughs in London have a licence scheme (unworkable, if you ask me!) so maybe the person in the clinic was referring to that.
