Question:
Hi There,
Can anyone recommend any salon worthy professional organic/natural beauty products?
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Thanks lots.:)
Hi Kate,
I was going to ask the same question tonight. I've just trained in Holistic Facials and the tutor used base white lotions and creams with essential oils added to it, and a cleansing lotion and cream.
We have also been discussing this on another thread, started off by someone wanting a recommendation about cleanse, tone and moisturise recommendations.
Hi Daisy,
Thanks for the reply. I am training in Holistic Massage and Beauty Therapy.
I'll check out the other thread as well.
Kate
Hi Kate,
TryPaul Penders (from Natural Skincare Company), Living Nature, Jurlique, (all have very natural ingredients with no parabens, mineral oils, etc); Spiezia are 100% organic; Circaroma (handmade, mostly organic, products with aromatherapy oils).
I hope this helps,
Francesca
Hi Kate and Daisy,
You might like to try Essensa products, which are distributed in the UK by the Holistic Training Centre in Southampton. They were the range I used when I first did my beauty training and have a lovely selection of professional and retail products, using natural formulations and aromatherapeutic ingredients.
Although I use a different line in the salon, I still use their facial blend oils in massages as they are so wonderful.
Try for more information.
:)Andy
Dear Andy & Francesca,
Many thanks for your replies. I shall look into the products you have mentioned.
Thanks again.
Kate
thanks Andy, will check out Essena, I trained at the centre many moons ago, and am sure Helen McGuiness would only support a natural range.
Do they send out samples?
I have got some samples from Phtotermal and am going to try these out, it was recommended by someone on the other thread, and they use a lot of natural ingredients and thermal waters.
Hi Daisy,
I believe Helen does send out samples - they arrive in tiny little pots if I remember rightly. I loved the entire product range, the only reason I don't use the full line at the salon is because it doesn't fit the "image" of the place I work from. Still use my lemon exfoliator at home though! :D
Andy :)
Am going to look up Essensa. Has anyone tried and can recommend the others? I have a brochure from Living Nature.
I'm worried that client's won't like them or that they won't be 'effective', so would like to hear from people who actually use them as part of their business.
How about GreenPeople? Also I know that Logona, and most cosmetics from Germany is good, right?
could anyone confirm?
Hi,
you could also consider Botanicals, made locally to me! Wendy is about to launch a Holistic beauty range at the Beauty show at Castle Donnington. If you want more details please PM Me!

also try Weleda

I would really recommend Fleur De Jouvance from Forever; it's about the only aloe-based beauty regime I know of. The aloe vera addition is anti-wrinkle, anti-ageing, etc.
