EFT over the phone
Question:

Hi guys,
Do you believe eft treatments via the telephone are effective? If so have any of you experienced this? I have recently downloaded the manual and I have attempted to resolve a particularissue but so far I've not had much success. I have'nt had any luck in locating anyone locally offering this treatment so I thought I might try via the phone. Anysuggestions?

EFT can work perfectly well over the phone and most practitioners will offer this service. It can be easier to have EFT done in person as it will be easier for the practitioner to read signals from you and guide you down the correct path, but this can also be done down the phone.
Anyone who has seen Gary Craigs videos will have seen plenty of examples of him doing phone-style treatments.

I agree with Giles, I have had some very encouraging results following telephone sessions of EFT and indeed my first EFT experience was done over the phone for a phobia of my own.
Sometimes the phone provides the client with a level of anonymity which lets them open up and relax even more than they may have done in person. The sessions take a touch more planning - a sheet outlining the procedure needs to be sent and you would need to familiarise yourself with it and make sure that you would not be disturbed during the session, but the benefits remain the same.
If you have an issue which you are unable to shift, there may be something deeper lying under the surface, it could be as simple as trying to work on heights but not remembering you once looked over the edge in a carpark as a child and felt scaredand someone teased you about it.. often the answers are staring us in the face but we can't see them.
Hope this makes sense.. and good luck with the EFT.

Many thanks for the replies guys. I will continue to work on the issue. I would like to send for the dvd's but to be honest at the moment I have a lot of other study committments (exams in 5 weeks), and I know that I would abandon these studies in favour ofEFT! I feel that I would like a face to facesession but as I mentioned before I cannot locate a practitioner so perhaps I may use the phone option.Either way I feel this therapy holds the answer to my problem. Speaking of exams etc any recommendations for EFT regarding motivation and retaining copious amounts of information!
Kind regards

I use EFT with telephone clients from all over the world with great success, so canconfidently recommend it to you. Some places you can go to find a practitioner are: and and which have lists of people in all areas. Also they list people who will be happy to help you via the phone.
Re the set up statements forthe above: Even though I can't get motivated to study, I deeply and completely accept myself. Even though I find it hard to retain or recall the information I need to pass my exams, I deeply and completely accept myself. (Or other suitable phrases)

I can honestly say that the vast majority of my clients are over the phone - probably 80-90% - as many live in other parts of the UK, or even the world and I actually *prefer* working over the phone with EFT. The reasons for this are:
- there are no distractions of a new environment, *seeing*/meeting a new person to detract from the issue they want to work with
- when at home the client may be able to connect with the issue easier and therefore make the EFT more effective
- no travelling/parking, etc which again helps the client to be less distracted away from the issue
I also find it very easy to conduct sessions over the phone and always send my clients full details on how to prepare plus a chart with the tapping points before the session (and through the post if they don't have email) and I'm sure any practitioner you work with would do the same.
However if you would prefer to see someone face to face I'd recommend you take a look at the various online directories of EFT practitioners to see if you can find one near you. There are lots of us around now! Try the listing here on HP, at , at , at or if you mention where you are in here it's likely that one of us will know a practitioner in that area as EFT'ers love to network!
Good luck!

wee update! I haveattempted tapping againand I have noticed some improvements. I still have a bit of a way to go but well on the way. I have spoken to some friends about EFT and I will be interested to knowwhat they think and how they got on with it whenwe meet for dinner next week.
I am off to try Steve's motivation recommendation as I have a presentation for uni and have done very little work.
If I need to at some stage would I be able to pm any of you about phone session?

A lot of my work is over the phone. With the beauty of the internet and email, i Just send the person via email a map of a face with the EFT points upon them, where the sore spot is, karate point is, just the basics. Then off we go tap, tap, tap. Very cost effective for client.

I've done it via msn for a domestic violence victim. Worked a treat.
