Question:
And it was a fantastic experience!!!
I'm still buzzing but feel quite exhausted. There were just 3 of us having it done, one being a friend and the other was a lady I had met previously on a crystal healing workshop so the day was very relaxed and we all worked well together.
I am lucky enough that there are quite a few of us that live locally, so we can plan a Reiki share group.
Does anyone else attend a share group that can give me a few pointers on what format should be used when we all meet up again?
All that's left to do at the moment is to memorise the symbols!!

Congratulations Leona on taking that next step on your Reiki path! It sounds as if you all had a wonderful experience. It will be wonderful if you can start a share group because then you can share the Reiki energy but also be able to share your experiences and help each other with any queries that come up.
The group I run for my students starts with any questions that may have come up since last meeting ( once a month), if I can help with an answer then I do but we see what others might feel would help. I don't profess to know everything about Reiki so am constantly reading and learning and sharing with other RM's so I can give the answer next time if possible!
We have a guided meditation which normally is based on chakra cleansing etc or just connecting with energy. We also send absent healing to all those who have requested it ( I have two books, one for CR energy and one for SHK). We then finish off the evening giving Reiki to each other by pairing up and giving 10 minutes each. This format is not set in stone so we are flexible as to what we do and what order!
Hope this has helped a bit,
Love and light

Hi Leona
Great you have your Reiki 2. Its a nice feeling isn't it.
I finished my Reiki classes in April and we started our own Reiki share as there were no others near us. We didn't really know what to do but started off with a glass of wine and chatted for a while about Reiki treatments we had given to ourselves, family, friends and pets, then we each received a full body treatment (all hands on deck!) and finished off with coffee and nibbles.. oh, and more chatting.
It was a lovely evening and we plan to do it regularly but through the summer it was difficult as people were away.
Reikiangel - I really like the idea of the guided meditation and sending absent healing and also the idea of the shorter treatments. Our treatments took a long time and we all ended up going home much later than we'd wanted! I will put these ideas to our share group to see what they think.
