reflexology taster sessions help please !
Question:

I'm about to do my first fair, for charity, offering reflexology taster sessions, anyone got any top tips, routines they use or practical advice please ?

Answers:

hi there - and well done for your taster sessions.
ive only done one of these, and all i did was a quick walk over of all toes and feet, you must explain to them that this is just a 'taster' session so may not feel all the benefits of a full treatment. also get them to fill out a consultation form (sorry if im saying what you already know!) this way they give their permission....and you also get names and address for your mailing list!
make sure you have some wet wipes handy for quick wiping of the feet and plenty of your leaflets that people can pick up and take away with them.
ummm...... smile!!!
if you need anymore help please feel free to pm me.

Hi Bearwoman
It is always a bit scary doing your first fair but just relax, it will be fine and i am sure you will enjoy it. It's always tiring but good fun.
I always talk to people briefly explaining you obviously cant do a full treatment and ask them if there are any particular problems they they would like working on. I do a couple of minutes warm up (or Greet the Feet as my Tutor called it) Then I do spine, head, shoulders and solar plexus for relaxation and then anything they have mentioned specifically.
I don't know how long you've got but you can easily fit that into 15 mins. If you give yourself a 5 min gap in between, it gives you time to hand them a leaflet and explain how they would benefit from regular treatments or a course of treatment if appropriate, tidy the area, before the next person arrives.
Good luck, I am sure it will go well.

Hi,
just to add, I always give taster sessions an aftercare sheet to take away, not only does it give them the obvious advice( which I talk them through) but it also looks professional and it has my website and contact details, I find that people do refer back to their aftercare sheet after a taster so it acts as a memory jogger too!
Have fun!
