Question:
Does anyone know of anything I can use to treat mouth ulcers? I have been rundown with a horrid virus that I cant seem to shake so I have three at the moment. They are very painful and I have tru=ied everything that the chemist could give me, as well as salt, but I could not bear that.
Any suggestions would be really appreciated!!!

Hi,
what about Homeopathic remedies? Merc Sol springs to mind, but I'm sure some one on here could suggest something!

Lilac,
You might want to try using sodium bicarbonate solution as a mouth wash.
Sodium lauryl sulphate in toothpaste can cause mouth ulcers too, so consider changing your toothpaste if it contains SLS.
Mirrie
ADCORTYL ointment, in 5g tubes from the chemist. We call it Magic Ulcer Ointment at home, it actually works hurrah.
Good luck

Try:
New Era Ferr Phos tissue salts available from health shops - get it to dissolve on the ulcer if possible - it's not painful, honestly
B vitamins and iron - either as foods or as supplements
Neways toothpaste and mouthwash
horrible problem, so painful, hope one or more of these help
My mum (who's chinese) would say something that sounds like "joo-uck" if I told her I had ulcers. What she means is your body is too heaty (or yang), so you need to cut down on yang food and do more yin things... eg have more baths and headwashes, avoid fried and baked food, avoid alcohol... http://www.feng-shui-institute.org/yinyang.htm
Honey and lemon are also good for mouth ulcers.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated!!!
