Question:
Hi....I just finallly got my hands on some lodestones....keep reading how great it is for helping out back problems..like pain and spines that are not straight. (see my earlier posts re: "Killing me!..back pain and crystal/stones layouts" in this forum and the other one in the "back problems" fourm for more info). My lodestones are kind of chunky ...about 2" very thick, dark with some lighter areas..they are not heavy for my back or anything but they are very rock like ...and they do pick up paperclips too ;). I put them along my lower back and tailbone areas for about 10 to 15 mins. I only got what I'd say is a slight headache...which also happened when I held them in my hand (left) for a short while at first. When I got up I felt my usual pain as always..nothing different. I'll be going back to a doctor pretty soon but in the mean time...just wanted to know if anyone has tips to share.
Thanks
Charish

The magnetic influence of the lodestone may not necessarily be what you need to take away the pain. Using magnets is usually a way of changing the magnetic field, directions and polarities and so the energy flows therefore releasing blockages, but if your pain is due to a pinched nerve or scoliosis for instance then no amount of lodestones will help till the condition is alleviated physically.
Lodestones are a very heavy and hard stone and really using round pharmaceutical magnets that can be taped to the skin and left in place for long periods is better, they are smooth and flat and comfortable!
I would try an evergy changing layout with the lodies and see if that helps 4 clear quartz points and 3 lodestones, one above your head and one beneath each foot then the 4 quartz E S W and N. pointing out first to cleanse and release energy then change and point them in, if after this the pain is no better then lodestones aren't the stone for you but look deeper and see what else needs healing first.
Thanks
