Labradorite heaven!
Question:

Went to one of my favourite crystal shops today specifically looking for some labradorite. I'd been organised and called the day before, just to make sure I wouldn't have a wasted journey. Imagine how happy I was to have two large boxes of labradorite to look through! I've never seen so much. Oooh, it was fantastic. Of course I could've bought all of it, I'm obsessed with labradorite at the moment!:)

Labradorite is a stone I constantly wear,I love the flash in it. I have a large sphere of it, and it simply radiates energy with a large section of it pure luminous blue and gold. Its just amazing.
I also have a few items of Jewlary. Labradorite is responsable for attuning us to the new age energy and vibrations as well as keeping us connected to mother earth, while we strengthen our bond to father God
Helps with the third eye chakra, well all the upper chakras,
I have programmed mine to help me with my clarevoyence and clareaudience.
Heck I would of loved to have been there when you were looking through it all:D

Hello Everyone!
What a wonderful place you have here. I don't know much about stones although I have a lot of them.
I've been looking all over for info. on Labradorite. I was drawn to this stone last week and am usually attracted to light colored stones.
I bought one and then was invited to see my sister after 8 years.
I think the stone is about protecting my energy space but I'm not sure.
It feels very solid, comforting, and female.
I was also drawn to a stone that I found out reduces chaos, helps balance intuition with logic and I felt this was for my son who has tremendous energy both physically and spiritually yet doesn't know what to do with it.
It was dark, flat and almost black on one side, but on the flip side, it was like a very deep purple/green and was shaped like a natural crystal so it had little square crystal shapes formed.
Any ideas on these stones?
How do I know if these stones are for me or someone else?
many thanks,
Maga

Hi Maga :) Welcome
I am sure you will know if the stones are for you or another, they will nag you till you pass them on and you won't regret it if the decision is right.
Labradorite is a wonderful stone. There are some beautiful pieces that shimmer and talk like mad. It can be very protective as it hides its inner self behind darkness and then needs to be persuaded to release or show its colourful glory.
Have fun xx

Labradorite is my favourite gemstone. And interestingly enough the only labradorite I have is a small tumbled greyish/black stone with only a small area of greenish/blue glow when you bring it out in sunlight (it doesnt work with indoor light)
I have many other natural rough crystals which are awesome. But even though this labradorite is tumbeled and may not look like much, it most significantly makes me feel "huge" as in I can feel the stars inside of my soul. It makes me feel a huge connection with universal conciousness (beyond space and time). It is by far my favourite, even though i dont wear it often.
The first Gemstone i ever bought was a Lapis Lazuli. And now I have many. I most recently gave one of my friends a piece of Moldavite, A quartz crystal, and the piece of labradorite. Im going to have to go out and get some more labradorite. But the moldavite I want back, cause its too expensive to buy another. The quartz, I have many, but i gave him a very special one. i love giving crystals to others. Especially when right now, they suddenly have discoveries of the Ancient golden age, and their own soul and spirituality.
Our Ascenion is working wonders!

I can't remember if i posted this on here before or not,but a couple of weeks ago i was told in a dream that Labradorite is closest to God, so i thought i would do a search and see what came up ~
LABRADORITE – Feldspar
Chemical Composition: Ca(50-70%) Na(50-30%) (Al, Si)AlSi2Q8,
Crystal System: Triclinic Hardness: 6 - 6.5
Habit: Includes blocky crystals that rarely form free of the host rock and therefore do not usually show their full crystal forms. In sliced sections of rock, the labradorite appears as blocky chunks with a predominance of near right-angled corners; also massive, granular
Colour: Grey to smoky black, which can produce a colourful play of light across cleavage planes and in sliced sections, called labradorescence. The usually intense colours range from the typical blues and violets through greens, yellows and oranges
KEYWORD: ENCHANTMENT
Labradorite is truly fascinatingly beautiful mineral. It is a mineral whose charm is not fully noticed and may be overlooked if not viewed from the proper position; generally a drab-looking mineral with no special virtue until the colourful schiller is observed glowing on the surface.
Labradorite can produce a colourful play of light across cleavage planes and in sliced sections, called labradorescence. The usually intense colours range from the typical blues and violets through greens, yellows and oranges. The colour display is from lamellar intergrowths inside the crystal. These intergrowths result from compatible chemistries at high temperatures becoming incompatible at lower temperatures and thus a separating and lay in of these two phases. A ray of light entering a layer and being refracted back and forth by deeper layers causes the resulting colour effect. This refracted ray is slowed by the extra travel through the layers and mixes with other rays to produce a light ray coming out that have a different wavelength than when it went in. The wavelength could correspond to the wavelength of a particular colour, such as blue.
The labradorescence is truly a one of a kind mineralogical and metaphysical encounter and must be observed in person in order to truly appreciate its beauty. Notable occurrences include Labrador (from where it derives its name), in Canada, and the Scandinavian Peninsula.
Labradorite is metaphysically known as the ‘bringer of light’, the illumination on the path. It works by dispelling darkness.
Enchanting labradorite is connected to mystery: it points to magic and esoteric knowledge via its labradorescence or luminescence. It contains the mesmerizing dark moon energies of dreaming, of altered states of reality. Labradorite asks you “where do you go when you sleep?” - then it shows you - where you go - when you are not you. It facilitates initiation into deep hidden sacred knowledge and past life encounters. It is a gateway to other worlds and dimensions.
Labradorite is a shape-shifter, it plays with the light, and it moves it and bends it and plays with illusion. It skilfully removes the ‘hooks and ensnarements’ of other people’s mental projections, allowing one to completely clean the auric shell of other people’s emotional debris. It removes negativity and depression that have been caused by disappointments in life. It teaches you to look beyond the visible world, to use your sixth sense. Its energy can see beyond the illusion of time and space. It can see right through you - it will expose all your flaws, shams, corruptions and shame, then it teaches you to heal them.
[b][color=#6699ff]Labradorite heals relationships; it shows you where there is no substance, just delusion and denial. It heals the stress and anxie
