Question:
Hiya folks.. some guidance please.....
I have a new Angelic Reiki practitoner who will be renting a room at my clinic.
She does not get her patients to fill in a medical intake form or consent for treatment form.
She askes if they are on any medication, if they have illnesses but that is it.....
I thought that it was common practise for all therapists treating patients to get a signed consent to treat and a brief medical history...
Maybe there are no legal, as it were, requirements, but surely there must be recommendations???
any comments would be gratefully received.

This is a problem I have, as on training very few reiki masters tell their students of what they must do, and show them some type of consultation form.. I put a similar thread on this yesterday also....
I think with reiki the main thing is that you get information of mediation etc, illness etc.. as for signing, perhaps that is personal preference.. About 4 years ago I had a session of reiki treatments, all they done with me is ask ? I did not sign anything, so from your thread, I think in a way you have answered one of my questions, as I was concerned of how to set up a consultation form, is to ask about mediation etc... and once I get started, I will ask for them to sign the forms.. but I do not think there is a leagal requirement yet...
It would be nice to hear of others thoughts on this
