Question:
Hi all, I finally got around to trying EFT today after taking a look at Giles' website. Although I have Gary's manual, I couldn't digest it properly. However, that handy little video was just right for visual me! :D Thanks Giles!
I decided to tap first on my disorganisation tendency. At the weekend I was tidying out a room and as usual, ground to a halt and was left surrounded by bags etc and no clue how to sort the contents... which left me feeling frustrated and annoyed.
So - started with 'Even tho' I'm disorganised..' and got it down a point instantly. But I could feel the anxiety behind it, so I focused releasing that and every time, my inner self would tell me how far I'd gotten, jumping down two points or more at a time. At 4, it got a bit sticky and I had to change my words around (can't recall the terms right now), but I managed to get it right down to 0! [sm=1syellow1.gif]
Feeling insufferably pleased with myself, I went to make a cuppa and was inspired to make a mind map of my anxiety (which is the root of many difficulties). Along the way another anxious bubble came up so I instantly tapped and released that.
I haven't tackled the mess again yet, but intend to tomorrow and will tap as and when...
When you think about it, there are SO many areas you can work on... brilliant device!!
Blessings
