Hi all,
My baby niece is being christened at the end of August and I'm trying to think of a suitable present. Her grandparents will ensure she wants for nothing, so I wanted to get something from the heart rather than the wallet. We are not historically a close family but me and my brother are trying to change that and I want something that shows how much she means to me. I was thinking of perhaps buying a small crystal Angel, but know that crystals are not something you buy ambivalently so would appreciate any advice anyone can give me. Rose Quartz sprang to mind, but I would maybe like something a little more unusual. I'm not very good a picking up vibrations from crystals, so I'm not confident of making the right choice just by intuition!
She was born on 21st March and her name is Grace. She has already received a Reiki charged toy with her parents blessing, so I'm sure something a little out of the ordinary would be acceptable to them too.

What a lovely idea...as you had thought about an Angel...how about one of those Birth Month Angels...she will automatically have the crystal for that month so it will be something less for you to worry about, or a little Crystal/Angel necklance that can be worn when she's a little older...I know you say your not very good at using your intuition but I am sure when you see the right one...you'll know;)

'Celestite' jumped at me as I read your post Sandie. Not really sure why! However, I do know it is a peaceful, calming and uplifting stone, good for raising mood. Trust yourself, you'll find the right thing.
I think that an angel or some crystals is a beautiful idea. And I think rose quartz too as Ithar suggests.

How about a rose quartz heart - it will provide a very soothing and loving energy for the baby. Rose quartz in babies bedrooms is wonderful and helps to calm them and soothe them.
