Question:
Morning, all!
Anyone know much about sleep paralysis? How would you use EFT on it?
Thanks.
I don't have any experience of using EFT with sleep paralysis, but I wouldn't hesitate at giving it a go! As we keep hearing with EFT "Try It On Everything"!!
The way I would approach it would be to find out if there was a trigger for the sleep paralysis starting. Was there a traumatic event, stressful time when it started. If so, apply EFT to this and any emotions still surrounding it.
Then I would ask how they feel about the sleep paralysis (scared of it? angry? fed up?) and tap on those emotions.
Then I would also get them to use EFT every night before sleeping on "Even though I know I am going to get sleep paralysis tonight" or similar. I would also teach them how to apply EFT without actually tapping (ie. imagining vividly that you are tapping the points) so they can apply it if they do awake with sleep paralysis.

Hi
Sleep paralysis is normally fear based. A client I recently treated had been having these kinds of nightmares over the last eighteen months. She would think she was awake but when she started to feel fearful she could not move. We started by tapping for "even though I have sleep paralysis ....". She then started to remember other incidents over the last eighteen months of feeling like someone would come into the room when she was sleeping and would sit on the bed next to her and she would be so scared she could not move. We tapped for this fear. After a few further rounds she suddenly became deathly still and pale and said to me "I cannot say this". We then tapped for the inability to "say" what she was thinking. Eventually it came out that the entity that she was fearful of (she could not remember if she had seen or just sensed) was her husband. It shocked her greatly. We tapped for this. It then took us back to a past life of abuse. This was her life time for her and her husband to resolve this issue but because she had been ignoring (or did not know it was there) the issue became a huge problem at night when she was sleeping (best way to attract her attention to clear it).
This client mentioned that deep down she did "know" that it was her husband she was fearful of but she never wanted to acknowledge it and that session was the first time she brought it out into the open.
This does not mean that her husband is an abuser in this life time but it is an energy that is held between them and needs addressing.
I hope this helps.
Blessings
