Question:
We did it by phone. After a brief chat to discuss my problem, I hung up and meditated for an hour, at her request. At the same time, she was holding my photo and doing a sort of "mind meld" as Mr Spock might say (!) to see my problem. I have to say I saw a bright light appear on my right side and felt a bit dizzy and high. After the hour was up, I continued to feel very peaceful.
I have to email her in a week for a follow-up. She seems like a very kind, caring woman. Bloody expensive though! But when you are desperate, money is no object.

Well firstly, I am sorry that you are not feeling too great at the moment- feel free to post on healing and prayers if you need, won't you?
Also, and please don't think that I am undermining distance healing, but it might be an idea to have hands on sessions too- if you're a little strapped for cash bearing in mind your other healing, then visiting a spiritual healer is probably a good idea as they usually only ask for a donation. There's is something very lovely about having healing in person:)
I came to know about Carol Everett's healing powers watching her on TV, doing a healing demonstration where she had no idea who the patient was and, indeed, wasn't even in the same room. Electronic devices recorded the healing as it occurred, much to the astonishment of onlookers.
It depends on the power of the healer. I've had hands-on sessions that did nothing.
Hi NoPatterns, I personally don't believe that "power" has a place in spiritual healing. To say one person has more 'power' (in any form including healing) than another goes totally against my values. I believe that everyone has the ability to heal, and no one is 'better' at it than others as it is a natural innate talent that each and every one of us have. We are all precious spiritual beings, so how any can of us have more or less spiritual healing than each other? Healing is not something that we do it is something that we are, because it is not coming from the healer, the healer is merely tapping into a higher energy source and letting it pass through them and into the 'reciever'.
I am not putting down your distance sessions, I think that this kind of healing is just as valid as any other. In my previous post I was meaning that it may be helpful to see a healer in person, due to the counselling aspect. I also think it is lovely to make a personal connection to the person who is 'giving' healing, and being with someone who is likeminded and (hopefully!) offers unconditional love to each and every one of their clients- it is a very healing to be in the enrgy of a person like this.
These are just my personal beliefs, and I wish you well with whatever healing you feel most comfortable with.

Hi Azalia, I don't believe that NoPatterns meant that the healer was more powerful than anyone else.
The clearer the channel is the more healing energy that can be channelled. Whilst we all have a healing gift, there are some that have specifically chosen to use their healing gifts in this lifetime, not everyone will choose to heal, so those that are pre-destined to heal will be very gifted in this modality.
I find that the more work and development the individual has done on himself/herself, the stronger the healing energy.
