Just ourchased some today, anyone have anything they can offer in the way of advice etc.

I've come across lepidolite (often pink, purple or white in colour) and epidote (often darker colours of green, brown, black) but I've not heard of epidolite. Can you describe it for us, Ithar? Or better still put a piccie on so we can admire it!

aha but maybe not...from an internet search it would appear the gem epidolite and laverdine is also known as lepidolite...
its a lovely stone both the natural rock and the boytroidal is really cool ...quite calming and peaceful for me it has a gentle energy...
