Hiya Everyone
Just wondering how long everyone has being attuned to Reiki.
I got Reiki 1, 2 years ago...am doing Master now.

Did Reiki 1 almost nine years ago in October 1996. Reiki 2 three months later in January 1997, and Masters nine months later in September 1997, all with the same Master. It may seem rather rapid, all within the space of 11 months, but the opportunity was there, and it was the right thing to do for me. Masters for me was more about my own growth and development however than teaching but we all do uit for our own reasons, and teaching is by no means essential. All in all, discovering Reiki was one of the best things I ever did. Still doesn't seem like nine years though.

Took first degree in 1993... did 2nd distantly in the 90's, then again in '99 - I think! Master and then Master/Teacher came in 2000.
It's interesting how some people 'zoom' through it and others take their time...

I had my first experience of Reiki in 2001. I did Reiki I May 2003. II May 2004, III Dec 2004 - I'm not doing attunements yet, but I will soon.
All felt right, at the right time for me, with loads of practice in between on lots of different people.

I did reiki I+II in '97 then left it 5 years before felt I wanted to do Level III. It was another year before I felt drawn to doing my Master level. Plenty of practice over the years and I still feel like a beginner sometimes! You never stop learning, whatever level you are.

I did Reiki I in January this year and level II in April. I have a view to doing III eventually, but am happy allowing the energies of the second degree to do their work :)

How long? Since the beginning of time - just as we all have.
I did Reiki 1 last March, Reiki 2 a week later, Reiki 3 healing mastership a few weeks later and Reiki Masters just over a couple of months later in July.
I've been doing reiki now for about 2.5 years and haven't looked back, did it by chance, stuck with it cause I enjoyed it so much.. have progressed to Master and have also been attuned to other forms of reiki in the last 1.5 years.. I will continue to learn other modalities when the time is right for each.. would be lovely to have them all quite literally at my fingertips.
