Question:
Well, I've done my first lot of mini-treatments at a local PTA school fair. I was a wee bit concerned about it beforehand but thanks to your previous advice, everything went really well. Considering this was a two hour spot in the North East of Scotland in the countryside where the people are really not much into complementary therapies I had three mini-treatments, including one man, which I didn't expect at all! Plus people watching, now that felt strange, and people looking at information. So all things considered, it's been a success for me and a confirmation that Reiki is the way to go. Thanks to all of you who answered my queries about mini-treatments before!:D
Now, I do have one question. One of the people I treated was a girl only 9/.10 years old and she was crying at the end, I mean, not just a few tears, but sobbing. I re-assured her and her mum that this was normal, that something was being released, and that loving energy can be quite overwhelming that it makes us cry. Having said that it did throw me a little bit. Can I just check? -- is there anything else I shoud have said or done. It's just I was so in awe of how Reiki worked on this girl that I was a bit gobsmacked to find that she was crying so much, and children, I feel, are so much more
vulnerable, or open to these experiences.
Thanks and loads of Reiki hugs,
Beate

Fantastic! Well done you, it's very scary when it's your first time but now it just gets better! It sounds like you have raised the awareness of Reiki in your neck of the woods which is wonderful! Plus it sounds that Reiki has shifted something in the young girl that may have hung around in her system for years and become a physical problem at some time. Remember, just for today do not worry!
