Hi again everyone,
I am really interested in doing a beauty therapy course. I could go to college but the course is three full days a week. To a single person this would be fine but I am a single parent with a part time job so that I can look after my son and I have bills to pay, I have to rent privately and my rent is very expensive at £530 pm. So doing a full time course at college would dramatically reduce my income, I know that I would get help financially from the government but children aren't cheap, especially as my son is now at school.
I just wondered if anyone knows of an alternative option?

I don't know where you live but I applied to do a beauty course (NVQ) at my local college for one night a week for 3 terms. I think a lot of colleges offer these courses as like you I wasn't able to give up a day job to do a course. The teaching was still first rate and I used to look forward to my evening as we often used to finish up at the pub afterwards:).
