Question:
I have just started eft, and noticed that i have sore bruising underneath my clavicle bone, ( i haven't been tapping hard), so i don't understand how this can happen.
Also to achieve desired affect, how many times would you do this?
You may be sore here anyway, (many people are who have tight chest/ shoulder muscles) and have only noticed because of the tapping.
Sylvia Hartmann suggests some alternatives to tapping
Generally 5-7 times - or if you feel a release at tehat particular tapping point carry on until you want to stop.

You could also use the touch and breathe technique. This works by putting light pressure on each EFT point, holding it while you take a gentle but deep breath and letting go once you have exhaled.
Very calming.
