Charge more for big feet??
Question:

:)Dont mens (and some ladies) big feet take a lot longer to treat than a size 4 or 5.
They also make my hands ache more with having to change position frequently to reach all the areas:) Or is it just that my hands are small??
So to compensate for our extra wrist and hand wear and tear perhaps we should charge per inch.
Any other bright ideas.

PS this little wandering of thoughts was inspired by the Rugby players posting. (My beloved being a size 10 ex rugby player too)

Sounds like a plan to me Jan. My husband has conoes for shoes having, as he does, size 13 feet. Takes me all day to get round his feet. Then again, I'm 5' 2" with size 4 feet and tiny hands.
By the inch seems fine by me.

Yes! I've often thought of this too! I have had some clients with particularly large feet and as you say, it takes ages to treat!!!

My other half is size 11 and I know what you mean Jan! But wouldn't that be seen as discrimination? :D

Well I don't charge more for men for massage and I always make up more oil for a man.

They do take longer no doubt about that. However I have found that an hour's treatment more than covers the average sized foot and you can spend a lot of the time on repeating areas etc so I would just not be repeating so much on the clod-hoppers.
If I ever re-marry it will be to somebody with feet under a size 12. :D

I hope you have more criteria for choosing a bloke than that Candie!! [8D]

.... and I always thought size doesn't matter... :D

Oh Giles, I am so sorry...whoever told you that?[8D]
Siobhan, ok, maybe it is a bit shallow, I admit it. Perhaps I will revise the plan and work my way down from the head instead.:D

Hehe, clod hoppers - haven't heard that for a while, found it quite funny. Oh dear, i'm easily amused, aren't i?
Anyway, as candie said, if it takes an hour to treat the average foot and you would spend a lot of the time repeating areas, you just wouldn't repeat so much on people with big feet (or clod hoppers, hehe)

Does this mean we have to charge LESS for little feet?!

Well! I had to re-read my post as I wasn't even aware I had put that!:D These things go deep don't they? We don't even give a thought to some expressions.:D It's probably a Northern thing?
