Question:
Reiki wasn't so good today - came home in a bit of a bad mood because I didn't really like the teacher that much, really disliked a girl in my group because she was really 'loud' and on top of all that, doubt my own ability and wonder what will happen if I can't pass the assessment and channel the energy at the end. I guess I know that I can do it, but it doesn't feel the right circumstances to let me grow, do you know what I mean? I think this must be a feel the fear and do it anyway situation. I will battle on and carry on with the self-healing.
Forgot to say- besides the fact the teacher picked favourites and told some they were natural healers and didn't give a word of encouragement to others,I did have an interesting experience. We did a meditation at the beginning, and I gradually became aware of the lady's hand who I was holding on my right side became very tingly. It got so intense it was like pins and needles until eventually I couldn't reason that I was imagining it. I was feeling it from the girl on my left, but not nearly as much as the other lady. When we came out of the meditation she began crying as the energies had obviously blasted out some emotional blocks for her, and I knew that this must have been why I had felt such an intense energy flowing through her and into my hand.
Perhaps I do have it in me somewhere?

Everyone has the ability to heal and be a clairvoyant if they wish, in the same way that everyone has the capacity to learn an instrument or read a book. We all have the same energy channels that the life force moves through.
You are doing just great try to remember that each person will have a unique experience and sometimes a teacher will push some that need it more then others. I wouldn't mind betting your teacher thinks you are far wiser and cleverer then your years so has feels she does not have the need to tell you.
Just allow yourself to be the star that you are, relax and accept what the heavens what to share with you. This is between you and them the teacher's only role is to share with you and you teach you discipline everything else is done by spirit direct with you.

Just remember that when those little doubts sneak in just remind yourself that you are a star!

Hang on in there , keep true to your gut instinct - believe in your own unique special gift - there is nobody - no teacher, trainer, friend who should be able to take that belief away from you - only if you give them the power to do so & thats not recommended !!! :-)
Sounds a bit weird. Are you on an on-going Reiki course? Sorry if you have mentioned it before but I can't remember.
Anyway, don't worry about the self-doubt. When you are attuned the Reiki will flow regardless of whether you believe it or not! Besides we are all filled with flowing ki - without it you would be dead! Next time you see a spider on a wall or another bug, try focusing your energy on it and see how it reacts [sm=flylicker.gif]

At the end of the fourth Saturday we have to give a short healing sequence to the teacher so she can see whether or not we can do it to a satisfactory level.
