Hi Guys:D
Just wondering if you could help, I`m about to start up a mobile beauty therapy business for ladies only , and i`m just a bit concered that i`m going to get dirty phone calls from men who imply they want extras (if you know what I mean).[&:]
Don`t get me wrong, not all men are strange like that!!! :)
The reason why I ask is that I have read past threads which said that Beauty Therapists get those calls from time to time...[&:]
Not saying that I will, but you never know...
What is the best thing to say to them without being unprofessional? I know what I would say, but I wouldn`t be able to print it here:D
Any helps would be great...

be professional, say something like "I'm sorry sir, but I'm a professional therapist and I don't think I offer the services you are looking for".
Also look up your local sex therapist details or other such clinic which could help such men and offer the details of these to him to help with his problem.
Chances are he'll go running... :D

Fortunately, I've only had one that was slightly suggestive and I was very firm and suggested that he looked in the personal ads of the local paper. I was able to bring the conversation to an end by asking him if he'd like me to ask my husband if he knew of any appropriate places for him to go.;)

Just explain that you only carry out treatments on ladies.
Its going to be an occupational hazard i'm afraid!!
What on earth are you expecting them to say to you?? Err on second thoughs, dont think I wanna know!

Our tutor from college had a phone call asking if she gave extras, she told him she didn't but her colleague did, she then said I will just go and get HIM,, the phone went died....... She says this works everytime ;)

Hi all, I was chatting to a really nice lady I got talking to at a Spirit body and soul exhibition in Colchester last year who is a therapist and I explained I was training etc and asked her if she had any advice.
One ofthe things she told was that she had a guy ring up one day asking for extras and even though she told him she didnt do those kind of therapies he still kept on so she told him she was booked solidly for 2 months and gave him an outrageous price - he never rang back!
Have to say t hough Cherish - I do like your answer to the problem!
