ok! ok! *feels the wrath of Rosi's pointy stilleto's up his bum* I'll answer.
I haven't had any requests for distant healing from any clients as yet, I think some people tend to find it's a little 'unbelievable' that you can do such things, whereas hands on healing is more acceptable.
I do however send distant healing to friends, family and those on HP who request healing *"hiya" waves to everyone*
When sending I use what feels right for me at the time. Sometimes I will use the symbols whereas at other times I will use the intent. Having just learned the Sekhem symbols, if I'm sending sekhem energy then I'll visualise these being drawn in 3d over the client. Sometimes I see myself hovering around the client, scanning for problem areas and giving reiki where it is needed, and sometimes this (and I know it'll sounds weird to some) will involve me going inside the person and healing directly on the point of the problem.
I'm Western reiki trained so don't do any Eastern reiki techniques at the moment.

I actually find it quite differcult to explain what i do when sending Distant healing as it can vary depending on how i'm guided. I always set my intent for the highest good of all involved & i visualise the person or people, I always see the symbols sinking into them & see myself with my hands outstreatched & my hand always get hot. Often I see Unicorn & or Pegasus come in & take a blanket of rain bow energy & gently drop it over the people recieving healing. If i know wjhat area is causing the problem I focus on there for a minute or two longer.
I hope that helps you Kevmos[sm=hug.gif]

Hi Kevin,
i use both methods - Kotodama and symbols. I also send absent healing over distance and when i have my hands on the client.
i hope your research is going well.

I believe that distance healing is just as effective as hands on..same with attunements.
All healing works on channeling remote energies so it is same thing in my belief.
I use intent and symbols to send healing and attunements..spirit i believe help me.
There are some occasions where hands on is more approriate.
Hi, I use the Western method since that's how I was taught. Distance healing I usually do by visualising the symbols and focusing intent. I have different focusing methods; building a ball of energy and putting the names and symbols into it, sitting with my hands open and sending the energy, holding a page or book with names written, thinking of the person... lots of ways.
