"taste" of 15 minutes reflexology, help!!
Question:

Hi everyone,
I will need to give taste of reflexology for 15 minutes at an open door in a gym. I have never done that before. I generally give 1 hour treatment (the minimum I 've done is 45 minutes). I think 15 minutes is quite a short time to get people to understand and appreciate it. So what do you do? what are people expectations when they come for a short treatment?
Thanks a lot for any help with this .

I'd do some general warm ups and relaxation techniques followed by the digestive system and maybe the spine.
I'd then finish off with some more relaxation and some diaphragm deep breathing.

Don't forget that they won't have a clue what you're doing unless they're reflexologists. As Sulis suggests, lots of opening moves and relaxation is always pleasant, and I too would work the spinal reflexes plus the head and brain areas. Maybe a zone walk to make sure everything gets covered. Lots of lovely closing moves including spine twist. Solar plexus breathing. Your 15 minutes will soon whizz by and you will have a nice happy client! Have fun.

Forgot to say, endocrine system work is also very nice!

thanks a lot for all this "tips". will definitly use relaxation strokes and combine with head and spine.
Just one more question : do you ask them to fill in a consultation form before? or do you simply check with them if they haven't have any contra-indication to the treatment ?

You won't have time for a proper consultation. I usually have a booking sheet with timeslots and on the top I put a note (in red) to say that if they have any of the following conditions, I won't be able to treat them on this occasion, however, please feel free to discuss the problem with me and we can consider options for a future treatment (or words to that effect!).
