Question:
Has anyone tried any of the flower remedies for aversion to hot humid weather? I'm going to a different place on holiday for a few weeks and I *know* I'm going to have difficulty adjusting, after a long hard North American winter, to the heat and humidity.
I've seen the Bush remedy Solaris -- just wondering if anyone has tried it or any other remedy to get to not mind that my clothes will feel like plasticwrap!
Love and Light,
Kathleen
Look up a homeopathist or do some research yourself on this... my father had exactly the same problem and it has been seemingly cured through a short course of remedies some years ago. Cant remember which one though. If no other alternatives present, you could try a calming remedy such as Kalms etc, just so you dont get crabby!
I also seem to remember hearing that nettle tea helps you sweat properly, so you dont get too hot x
Thanks, Suebee -- I'll look into the nettle tea. Was the homeopathic maybe Sepia? That's the only one I can find that's for dislike of hot weather!

Kathleen
Might be worth trying Mulla Mulla (not sure if I spelt that right) from the Australian Bush Remedies range. I have heard that this is very good for this sort of thing, also for past life issues to do with fire, such as being burnt at the stake, which I suspect has happened to me a few times!
Other than that, when I went to Egypt last year was told that they use Eucalyptus to keep themselves cool. A got a huge bottle of Eucalyptus perfume from one the perfume stores we visited in Luxor, and it worked a treat for me. Not sure where you can get it in this country, but would definately recommend it for cooling you down, and making things a lot more bearable. Hope this helps.

If that's the case, June, you could always blend some eucalyptus essential oil into some cream or lotion and use that. No more than 4 drops per ten mls.
It should also keep the mozzies away.

Thanks June -- yes, Mulla Mulla is exactly the same as the Bush "Solaris" -- at least, that what the Solaris has in it. I'm wondering if any has actually used it.
Eucalyptus would help too. I know that peppermint oil has a temporary effect -- I was hoping for something that would let me just forget about the heat entirely and enjoy the trip -- oooh, I don't know about the past-life thing [:-] I did clear my last one in which I was Japanese -- don't exactly remember fire being part of that one and anyhow, it's cleared.
Waaaahhh -- I don't wanna go through another past life clearing! :( I suppose given that option I'd rather live with the heat discomfort waaaahhhh! [sm=sad-smiley-047.gif]
