Question:
I had my first colon cleansing over the weekend. I have had a life time of constipation problems and have been reading up on this and decided that it was something that I wanted to do. My ultimate goal would be to get my colon back to health. My question is this. The cleansing went on for over and hour and not much came out. Afterwards I used the restroom and there was quite a bit. She felt that we had softened things up and we should see more the next go round. I am curious if this is normal or if anyone else has ever had this experience. I was expecting some better results.

I haven't had a colonic myself, but my partner went for a weeklong detox involving 3 colonics over the week.
Apparently it's quite normal that it doesn't just all come out, because of the way the matter impacts to the walls on the inside. It seems that over time and with more colonics, and with a suitable diet to help 'loosen' things then more matter will come out. It is also quite normal that matter will still be expelled for a few days after the colonic.
I'm sure everything is as it should be. The hydrotherapist should have explained to you that it doesn't all just come out in one go in the majority of cases.

A friend of a friend had it done in Manchester and the first time was the same as yourself-not much happened and she was told to come back a while later.
On her next appointment she passed a poop the size of a ferrero roche and it had fur on it!! The therapist said it had probably been there for 2 years [:'(]
I bet youll find that itll be 'more productive' on your next visit! :D
