Hi Everyone,
I am doing a Hopi Ear Candling course in a couple of weeks, and wondered if anyone knows of any good websites where I can get some information about it before I go..
Really looking forward to it, and have already had some interest in having the treatement done once I am qualified!!! :D
There are also not many books out there about it...

The best thing is to do a Google search on 'Ear Candling' and 'Thermo Auricular Therapy'. You will find loads of information.

Thanks, I am really looking forward to it. It is something I have been intrigued by for a while, and did not realise how many people are wanting a therapy..

Yes I am training for it in Northwood, at Mount Vernon Hospital.. Through The Middlesex School of Complementary Medicine (based in Stanmore, Middlesex)

Just wanted to double check as I am going on a course tomorrow (Sat), at the Kent Adult Centres, it`s £18.00 plus £15 - £20 for materials unless you have your own...
I just find that these particular courses are very expensive..so it`s worth myself travelling down to Kent from Berkshire.... so I can`t wait :)
Maybe Kent would be also closer...;)

Sorry was out yesterday so only just got your message.. My course was 110.00 plus vat, and approx 60.00 for candles that we will need for the case studies.. But on the plus side you get a certificate so you can be qualified...

It`s ok, we have busy lives...
Yes I went on Sat, and learn everything you need to know about Hopi, we have to complete case studies which have to be complete within two months of training,,,so i`m hoopying tonite!!!

Well, just done my first day of the course.. and loved it!!
I had never had a treatment before, and definately needed it.. Only problem was I really did not feel very well last night after it.. But feel a bit better today. I almost feel today like my neck and head are too heavy for my body, hope this is normal..
Now cannot wait to start my case studies, am probably more excited about these than my massage case studies..
