Hi
I have been a witch for a number of years, I have always been interested in Shamanism, but it has never been the right time to further my knowledge. I feel it is now and I would be interested in any books or info that people could point me to that would be compatable....

Wolfspirit, may I suggest that you take a walk in the wilds, sit down under a tree and ask to be shown your shamanic path. From my pov, shamanism is very much an intuitive, instinctive path and that may be the way to go, depending on your own experience. If you are a hedgewitch, for example, you're already half-way there! :D
As for books... the only ones I'd look at are Kenneth Meadows for Native American/totem animal teachings - lovely and straightforward books; Catlin & John Mattews for Celtic Shamanism and the one which started me off, although I'll probably get slated for it - The Path of The Shaman by Amber Wolfe. It literally leapt off the shelf at me! :D
