This stone helped me a lot at a difficult time in the office and afterwards when i moved to Norway. Brassy yellow or many hued with little bits of crystal quartz: Rises one's selfesteem and increases one's positive self regard. The energy of this stone keeps one feeling good about one's self and seeing one's self in a positive light. Makes one feel that one is a worthwhile and useful member of society. It also encourages eccentricity. Enables one to be eccentric and comfortable with one's eccentricity. Softens the chief negative feature of self depreciation by helping one notice what one is doing, this stone works to change how one actually feels about oneself.
I think this is a good stone!
Stormdeva,
A little light on Chalcopyrite for you...
It has an association with the first chakra and can be used specifically for problems in the genital region of a man. It is also recommended during traumas in the region of the pelvis.
It can remove despotism, megalomania and the desire to control other people.
Hope that is of benefit for you...:)
In Peace
Sol.
Thank you Marijke & Sol
You have both help to enlighten me ...
even though I have always found this crystal to be 'pretty' I have never been drawn to it... and even now since I have a piece I have never used it...maybe it's not for me, even though it was brought as a 'pressie'

Hi Stormdeva
I have this info
Chalcopyrite: Color, Brass yellow (often with a green tint), honey yellow (often tarnished)
An excellent mineral for those wishing to assimilate mystical knowledge as it strengthens perception and a connection with ancient cultures.
It helps remove energy blockages and encourages the movement of Chi and has thus been used in acupuncture and acupressure. A very useful stone for those practicing Tai Chi or "soft" martial arts for all of the above reasons. It also possesses the protective qualities of pyrite.
"It can be used in the treatment of bronchitis and disorders of the lungs. It has been used in the treatment of violent and/or highly infective dis-ease, as well as by others who are working with those affected, in order to provide protection from the affectation. It has also been used to lessen fevers, to reduce inflammation, and to promote hair growth." Quote from "Love Is In The Earth", by Melody, used with permission of Earth-Love Publishing House LTD
Color: Golden, Greenish
Chakra: 3rd, 4th
Enhances feelings of self-worth, confidence and belief in oneself
Hair loss, Throat/bronchial/lung, Depression
Stormdeva. I know NOTHING about crystals although find them VERY intresting. It's just my dear Friend is a Crystal Therapist and she helped someone the other day by telling them she felt this Crystal to be the best for them. Just explaning how I have the info that's all
love Sharon
Hi again,
Incedentaly - Chalcopyrite will discolour with time; as much as it has a brassy to irredescent colour on dark matrix - it will lose it's 'shine' and dull down to darker hues. This is the effect of oxidation to the air.
In Peace

Hi StormDeva
I forgot to add....
It is also Related to the Star Sign Cappricorn
And the Number 9:
Hark Me Stromdeva, Like I know what I'm talking about...lol..I haven't a ruddy clue.
While I'm here I must tell you something that involves you. Last night, on Uk living I watched Jayne Goodman investigates, Don't know if you saw it? Anyways...She was investigating Healing. Now....An hour before this I clicked your link to your site and saw a picture of you with your lovely horses. So Jayne Goodman went to investigate a woman who healed animals. She was healing a horse. i admit my mind played tricks and I thought it was you. Her name was margaret and although I'd checked out your site I couldn't remember your name. so when the adverts come on, I dashed upstaris and re-checked your site. To discover your name wasn't margaret. I was gutted, as I thought it was you and your claim to fame.Or was it you undercover..lol I just thought it was bizzare that only an hour before watching the show I had been looking at pictures of you, healing the horses
