mood swings and bad temper
Question:

Hi there,
My husband as recently developed a very bad temper and becomes irritated with daily life very easily. The slightest thing- he starts shouting ! ( not mentioning the nasty words he uses !)
Then a few hours later he apoligizes and is back to normal. He did'nt used to be like this. He used to be a very calm.
I thought of getting him a bach remedy - should it be holly or impatiens ? - or as anyone any other suggestions ??
Can certains foods trigger off behaviour ?
(Or is it just his age - he is 43 next week !)
Any help or advice much appeciated
Love Sweep xx x

Answers:

depends on what's triggering it. does he know and can he talk about it? if it's resentment and bitterness, 'it's not fair', 'poor me', then willow would help. general anger and impatience would be impatiens but it sounds like this is really out of character for him, elm if he's just feeling overwhelmed and inadequate, holly is really for hatred, lack of love for others. i'd probably go with rescue remedy followed by a course of St John's Wort as it sounds like he's under a lot of stress. ultimately tho', it would be best if he could talk about what's really troubling him. It is quite common at his age to suddenly feel as tho he hasn't achieved anything he really wanted and time is running out, maybe to feel a little trapped and overburdened. do you have time just to sit and talk to each other unconditionally?
'whatever the question, love is the answer!'
hope this is of help
