Question:
Hi All,
Does anyone know of a book about on-site massage and the techniques etc, or any information on certain websites I can look on for information. I have been asked to perform this but haven't had all that much experience.
Thanks, Jane.
Hi Jane,
The book I used is called "Seated Acupressure Massage" by Particia Abercromby and Davina Thomson, ISBN 1-903333-01-6. I've found it really useful, it has very clear photos and diagrams.
Cheers,
Jo

Hi Chord
Have you thought about doing a postgraduate workshop in on-site/seated/acupressure massage?
A book might be a start, but you'll know that there's no substitute for hands-on practice and experience. It'll be much better for your confidence, too!
There are plenty of massage schools/colleges that offer on-site workshops (run an internet search, or PM me if you can't find any), most of them just for the weekend - very do-able, therefore, and not a huge cost to bear. Could be a very good investment...
