Hi Silvercity welcome and thank you for your question
Hopi ear candling ,Thermo Auricular Therapy is a non-evasive treatment. It is a practice that was used by the Native American Hopi Indians of North Arizona. The candles are made from beeswax, sage, honey extracts , st johns wort and chamomile. I always use Biosin candles as these carry the CE Mark. The candles work like a chimney drawing impurities to the surface. It is like a massage to the inner ear, and this treatment is is suitable for most. Ear candles can help with the treatment of sinusitis, rhinitis, earwax, earache and irritation of the ears including tinnitus. It is also suitable for the treatment of headaches and migraines. It is not suitable for those with perforated eardrums, where grommets are in place or those who may have an allergy to the ingredients. It is a safe and gentle treatment for children. I find this a lovely treatment to give and receive. I hope this helps feel free to ask away if not covered all your question
