Here is a link that explain a bit more about Glucosamine ( also known as natures aspirin)...
http://www.alternativeways.co.uk/gluco.htm
What is the aspirin required for?
Thanks the aspirin is required to thin the blood a little to improve circulation.......does glucosamine have this action??
I'm not an expert - I've just Googled. It appears not. I know it's recommended for joints. I wondered about a homeopathic dose of aspirin - but I can't find anything on the net. I'll ask my sister and report back on that.

Sorry, can't be any more helpful - she said a homeopath would be able to offer a good alternative - but would have to take a full history. Hope you find something. Sharonx
I think it could be willow bark that she is looking for, which is a natural painkiller, and available from most good health food stores.

Hi June...
She actually said it is for thining of blood...
So I agree with Sharon and her friend here that janecs client should rather try and go see a homyopath for a natural alternative to aspirine...

Willow Bark is indeed where Asprin is got from. But given the reasons she is on it I personally would be careful with this & seek professional advice

Jane, I've been looking into Pynogenol today. Like aspirin it's derived from the bark of a tree - this time a Maritime Pine from the West Coast of France, rather than Willow, and like Aspirin it appears to be a bit of a cure-all. There does seem to be an application for blood thinning - have a look at this link. It's a PDF so scroll down to "Bark for the Heart".
