Dear all,
Just wanted to share the fact that I attended my first Reiki share evening on Wednesday and what can I say but wow.:D[sm=1syellow1.gif][sm=1syellow1.gif]:D
Lovely group of people, very friendly and a great wealth of knowledge.
We opened and then split into groups and started healing. the first person I experienced a tremendous pain around the occipital bone. I asked if they suffered from headaches and to my surprise the answer was yes. I worked on channelling the energy and brought thoughts of peace and tranquility into my mind. Don't know why - perhaps it was my way of dealing with the tremendous pain in my head. As soon as we the healing had ended the pain was gone. - Glad to say. That poor person to be suffering with that. [:@]
The second was very gentle and serene. The lady had asked for a boost with her energy levels. Whilst treat treating I felt very calm.
Then it was my turn to receive. Wow. At present I am suffering from a terrible chesty cough and burning and applying all the oils under the sun but nothing seems to be shifting it.[:@] Whilst I was receiving I felt a cold sensation in my ears and as if they were draining. Very strange but not uncomfortable. My whole body felt as if it was wrapped in a hot blanket - soothing and yummy.:D
The last lady to receive reiki I had the most awful postural pain in my lower back (sacral)
I worked long and hard to channel the energy to try and relived the lady of her back pain.
I asked her after did she suffer from lower back pain and her answer was of course yes.
all in all a lovely everning and I am very glad to say that I did not take away the head and back pain with me.
That night I slept like a log!!!
Yesterday I felt very tired but battled on having two full massages to complete. This morning apart from the cough I feel great and cant wait for the next reiki share evening.:D:)
