Question:
I've had some wonderful results lately when treating my friends and family - everyone has been seeing vivid colours.
Now I know that they relate to the different chakras but just wondered exactly what they mean when seen my whom I'm treating.
Is it just the chakras opening up to receive the Reiki or is it more that the relevant chakra needs more of the Reiki?
I was so pleased last week when my friend who's had a couple of sessions of Reiki from other people had her 1st treatment with me and saw colours for the first time!! :)

My understanding is that it is quite common to see colours and 'beings' helping out while doing Reiki...
I was not aware that the different coloured 'beings' related to the chakras though? What did your intuition tell you when you first experienced this?
I also had some of these experiences, but never connected it to chakras as I don't really concentrate on chakra work when doing Reiki as I believe Reiki, as an intelligent energy, does all it needs to do...
I did intuitively connect the different colours I see while doing Reiki to different kinds of healing taking place at the time... But I suppose it will mean something entirely different to me when it happens during Reiking a different person...

As Amber says what a FANTASTIC experience!!! WOW!!!
From personal experience, those I have given Reiki to have not seen colours. BUT when I got attuned to Reiki and sometimes when I do a self treatment I see colours. APPRENTLY so I was toldby my Reiki Teacher, seeing certain colours does relate to the chakras. I don't necesaraliy work with chakras either when doing Reiki, but she said that the colours I was seeing (purples, blues and greens) related to the spiritual chakras and health chakras at work... Hope that helps and makes some sense to you... :D

Isn't it wonderful, how much Joy Reiki can bring not only the reciever but also the Giver. I see lots of colours during Reiki sessions & espicially when sending Distant Reiki. I usually get flashes of colour, Which to me can be because of various things. Either that person needs that particular colour, or the Angels & spirit are helping. Sometimes i believe I am seeing the Aura of the Reciever. I go by what my intuition gives me at the time. Like Amber I am not aware of it being Chakra specific, but move with your intuition & be guided by it. You may start to find if you haven't already that your clients alsao see a lot of color. That too is quite common from what i understand.

I agree with everything already said before.
I also see colours and a great many of my clients do as well. I do work with the chakra system as I believe that chakras are the gateways for our energy system. So the colours could be related to the chakras but I echo Maria
.
The Angels, Archangels, Ascended Masters all come in on a colour ray too. I intuitively know when Archangel Michael is around because he comes in on a shimmering blue ray.
Sonnet go with your intuition and what feels right for you, it should resonate. Only accept what is true for you.
