Question:
Hi I am keen to train in Ear candling but cant seem to find a course anywhere near me. Im on the London/Essex border and if anyone knows of anything closeish I would be really grateful.
Thanks!
Hi Runestone and welcome to HP.
I did my course with Sue Maunsell. Sue with her partner Linda take their courses around the country and they often have courses in Sawbridgeworth which isn't too far.
You can email Sue on sue.maunsell@lineone.net and ask her when she'll next be in the area.
Incidentally whereabouts are you? I'm in Woodford Green.
When you get time, pop up to the New Members forum and introduce yourself.
Lesley
You could also try the trinity centre in Colchester, essex.
They have a course next year:

Not sure what you mean by this. As I understood it, anyone with an A & P qualification could do this course.

yes well spotted, sorry that`s what I meant!!!!!!
Hi, don't know if you're still interested as you made your post back in April, but I go to Colchester quite regularly and The Trinity Centre is fairly central and easy to find. I haven't trained with the tutor myself, but I have heard she is very professional and really knows her stuff! Her contact details are all on the website if you wanted to chat to her and find out more about the course. I think that the ear candling course is generally for practising therapists who are already insured, but it's worth dropping Regina an email to find out.
Good luck
HI all,
I don't know whether you've gone for your training yet or not but I can say that Regina is great! She has taught me Chinese facial massage and Indian head and neck - both using acupressure points.
She is very professional and is a great teacher, both the courses I've done with her a practitioners certificate is given for which you can get insurance. I'm going to be learning hopi candles soon with her.
Enjoy!

Hi
I've just enroled to do the ear candling course at Brentwood Academy, Essex.....its isn't cheap!! Its a two days course (one in Nov and one on Dec). In betweenthe dates you do need to complete a case study.....there is also a smalltest on the final day. Personally I preferputting in a little extra work.Let meknow if you would like more info.
I just thought I'd let anyone who was interested know that I have now completed the ear candle course with Regina and it was really good am very pleased I went on it. She let us use both hopi and Otosan cones which I thought was good as that gives us the choice as to what we want to work with - all of us went for the Otosan ones even though they are a little more expensive.
Thanks!
