Nerves
Question:

Ive told a few people at work about being able to do Reiki and 3 people have asked me to do some on them, they are all good friends of mine and I cant wait to be able to do something so giving for them. I am nervous though. None of them have had Reiki before but are all eagerlly awaiting it now [&:] I am looking forward to it but Im also nervous. Not that I cant do it as I know I can and always will. Just nervous as to what they might think after if they dont have an experience themselves. Does that make sense???

Hi there
enjoy this opportunity
You are not respnsible for their experience..it is just what it is..their first reiki experience
I gave a mini reiki treatment to someone I was working with several years ago and she loved it.
It was her first experience too, and was in a tea break during a fraught afternoon meeting.
Go for it

Hi Lisa
I agree just go for it,
I work in a hospital so im always giving mini Reiki treatments to colleagues. I love being able to help people relax even if its just for a few minutes.
This afternoon i watched one of my bosses getting more stressed as the day went on. I stood behind her chair and just placed my hands on her shoulders her response was "thats lovely dont stop" i continued for about ten minutes, its amazing how much she relaxed in such a short time she let out a huge sigh and dropped her shoulders about 2 inches.
Wonderful stuff share it with your friends, im sure they will love it.

I know the feeling- the first person who ever asked me happened to be...a reiki master[sm=rollaugh.gif] I was so nervous she wouldn't be able to feel anything before I started, but eventually relaxed into it. I asked her if she could feel it and she looked suprised and said "of course!! It was lovely." My advice? Trust you can do it, and don't have any preconceptions before you start the treatments, it will help ease off the pressure:D

A word of caution... my friend started treating people at work and ended up with a regular lunch-time clinic! :D
Relax and enjoy the opportunity to work with it; you'll do fine.
