Question:
Hi
I have been told by spirit that an animal spirit is working with me and that it is a Red Panda.
How can I find out more about this?

Ps Have also been told take care your achilles heel
Try the Animal Power book by Ted Andrews or failing that, read up on the habits etc of Red Pandas, which should give you a clue as to which attributes it brings to you.

Couldn't find any info' on the red panda however, if the Panda has introduced itself to you as a guide it is often as there are great tasks ahead of you...in the early stages maybe difficulties, the Panda often has two babies but usually only the one survives as the mother devotes her time to just the one ~ this teaches us that it is important to remain focused on just one thing at a time and follow through to completion before moving on to something else...

I had a similar experience a few months back when an animal was given to me in dreams, meditations etc. It was an emerald cat. It struck me as being really odd. Was your panda - a bright red colour or was it a more natural shade of red? When I got the emerald green, I don't know why but I asssociated it with the heart chakra - I had just had to put my cat down because his kidneys were failing. I took the emerald as meaning a gift to my heart in the form of a spirit of a cat. I wondered - red is the base chakra. I think it is associated with the life force - it is the point where the kundalini/transformational energy raises from, the power base - perhaps there is a need to nourish yourself.
I found this informtion on a panda (from one of the animal totem links listed http://www.sayahda.com/cyc3.html):
“A panda can indicate personal challenges relating to polarized concepts -for example, light and dark. They prefer being high watching what is happending on the ground below. From this vantge point the panda is able to maintain a spiritural connection with the seen and unseen forces. A panda has an intuitive voice for nourishment and guidance. This aids them in developing a deeper understanding in who they are truly are. From the perspective of spiritual growth this understanding is a fundamental requiirement for the soul’s evolution”.
I hope this helps - I think it may indicate a spiritual change that you are about to/ are already going through.

Thanks for the responses, I have found something and it is as follows:
The Red Panda = Proper use of masks, Ability to see through masks, using deterity to escape
I will look up the characteristics like suggested, thanks Stormdeva.
I will also look out for the Animal Power book as suggested, thanks Moonfeather.
I think the reference to one baby at a time is so so so right at the moment for me
I am currently dealing with memories at different ages and have been on overload.

I have done an internet search and realised there is such a speices as the red panda out there. I didn't realise this before. Ooops sorry! By the way I have got a tendency to be crazy! I don't see the logical!!!

I think the reason they get overlooked is that they are small in comparrison to the others. They are very beutiful.
You are lucky to get a red panda as they are like the gient panda and be secretive, but there wisdom is emense when they choose to impart it.

I appreciate that this is a very late responce however an understanding of the Red Panda as I understand it is as follows:
Once upon a time, long long ago in the land of dreams there happened to be a need for something interesting to come his way...
It did, many times, but he was so busy he did not notice it and it went away!
