Question:
Hiya everyone
I am training to by a Reiki Master, but so far our Master has not put the master symbol in us, so we can't give attunements.
A few nights ago, my five year old (who shows little interest in Reiki) asked me if I could let him do Reiki. I've always considered him as a "crystal "child" so thought I would try something.
I opened his palms and placed CKR SHK & HSZSN into them. (Thinking mostly that this would entertain my son, plus maybe give him a little tempory empowerment.)
My son, then told me his hands wer sizzling like a sausage and went and placed them on our dog (who by the way, NEVER takes Reiki from me or my friend and runs away at the first signs of us doing it.)
Normally the dog loves letting my son stroke and massage his back, but this time, the dog took off and wouldn't come near my son at all. My son spent ages chasing the dog around the house trying to "get his sizzling hands" on him. After 20 minutes he said his hands had stopped sizzling and then the dog would come near him.
So, maybe this mini empowerment did work, next time I try it on my son, will get him to Reiki me, to see if there is any effects from it.

P.S.
I posted about my dog on the pet froum, he has being out of sorts for a couple of days. Last night, for the first time ever, he did let me Reiki him and he seems a little better today.

Intention is a wonderful thing Angel. We all need to learn to trust in our intuitions and intentions.
IMO, There is no reason why you can't attune someone else if your intention is right.

You are mistaken I am afraid, all of the symbols are placed inside your energy matrix during your first attunement, please feel free to activate and use it as you feel fit :-)

Are you saying, that I have recieved the Master symbol then?
I did wonder how the mini empowerment worked, seeing has I am not yet a full Master....but then again, I did have the intention for it to work, so it has.

I'm sure Paul will clarify, but it was my understanding that we have the level 2 symbols put into us, and the master symbol is only put in during the master attunement. I could be wrong though....

I was taught to use the Master Symbol as the main Attuning Symbol.
In fact I use all four symbols in various combinations in all of my Attunements.
With a Reiki one attunement all of the symbols are placed into your energy matrix but not all of the symbols are placed into your hands, this does not stop the symbols that have not been placed into your hands from working unless you chose to accept that it does :-)
Ditto - that's how I was taught. I do believe that the very intention of being attuned to any of the levels self-attunes you anyway, so you were a Master before you even sat to be attuned, Angel! :D

Angel, there a lot of differnt ways of attuning people. They all have in comun intention to get the person attuned. You can also do attunemetns without using any of the symbols. It is called Reiju.
Paul, I agree with this! Symbols won't stay nicely in the part of the matrix where they have been first put in and not have a wonder about...

Intention is a wonderful thing Angel. We all need to learn to trust in our intuitions and intentions.
IMO, There is no reason why you can't attune someone else if your intention is right.
