AAAAAGGGHHHH!!!!
Question:

Hey guys 'n' gals,
Just need to do some spleen venting!
I've just had my first "no show" for a massage treatment and as it was during the lunch hour of my office job I'm particularly p'd off :-((
I know that it sometimes happens and sometimes people have a very good reason but it's still annoying all the same.
If they phone back and ask for another appointment should I add a cancellation fee on to the cost of the next treatment?? It was a new client and I didn't make the booking so unfortunately I have no telephone number to ring them up and ask what happened.... AAARRRGGHHH.[:@][:'(][:@][:'(]
Right then, have had my whinge - feel better now!! Thanks for letting me rant!

Hiya
Its always stressful to have a no show, but at least you now know to always get whoever it is that booked your appointment to take a telephone number when they book so its been a good learn.....that might be a bit harsh but it is only when these things happen to us that we work out a way of dealing with it next time...
personally i do not charge missed appointments it doesnt feel right to me, if I have a regular client and then they missed a couple in a row without letting me know then I would charge a half rate or something but otherwise i dont....most people have a really good reason and its just one of them things....and of course you can always come here and rant away when it happens...
Hopefully you wont get too many missed ones but they do happen time to time (I have had 2 this week!!!)
