B-Tech is internationally recognised and the midlands colleges of beauty do all kinds of other qualifications that are internationally recognized. I'm not sure how much they cost but I know they do them in units as well as the full course.

hi all
I am thinking of doing a beauty course, don't seem to be getting very far with my holistic therapies:(, so wanted to expand & didn't fancy sports therapy. I would like to advance my facial knowledge as i do an aromatherapy facial and japanes facial at the moment and love it (when I get the work!) Any feed back on colleges would be great. I have the info for Raworth and the Carlton (bit expensive!) but I know the raworth is a fantasic college. Has anyone had experience of the Newbrook college in Horsham? Sadly finances are going to determine which college i use, but we can't have everything can we! Hope you manage to find a course Lilly. Have you looked at the Carlton info. The college is based in Windsor. good luck

I did ITEC beauty diploma along side ITEC Anatomy Physiology and Massage Diploma at a private college in Derby (East Midlands). I started end Sep and took exams in May and June - qualified in 9 months. I did this part time and evenings but there are day courses also available. Having these 2 qualifications is almost level 3 NVQ - only not inc the electrical and false nails. Which you can do separately. Cost was about £750 for beauty and similar for massage (I think)?
