Question:

Hi
I working through a home-study course on Aromatherapy and one of the questions I've come across I can't seem to find an answer. Hopefully some will be able to help, here's goes:
Does the mind use the brain, or does the brain use the mind?
I think the brain uses the mind, what do you think?
Thanks
Allie

Do you use your body, or does your body use you?;)
Your brain, like your legs, has only as much life and use as you choose.
It's only one of the fleshy organs that make up your physical body and has no power of choice or discernment in itself.
It has certain autonomous functions, like controlling breathing, heartbeat and certain hormones: but your mind is a tool of your consciousness, and your brain is a tool of your mind. So I reckon the mind uses the brain and the brain uses, well, calories.
Lots of love (from my heart and mind - the brain only helped with the typing:eek:)

I beg to differ... We all have brains, but they are definitely not the same...
We can't say we are all different because our minds or brains are different... There is so much more to each indevidual than just their mind, body etc.
I agree with Giles -
